About the event
In 1211, Simon de Montfort was thinking of attacking the county of Toulouse. What's more, one of the Occitan lords who had paid homage to him, Aymeri de Montréal, Guiraude's brother, reneged on his allegiance, revolted and took refuge in Lavaur.
